These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at medicarewithmegan.com and the services offered by Up Planning Edge LLC, doing business as "Medicare with Megan" ("we," "us," "our"). By using this site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Up Planning Edge LLC is an independent Medicare insurance brokerage based in Friendswood, Texas, doing business as "Medicare with Megan." We are licensed to sell Medicare-related insurance products in multiple states. We are not a government agency and are not connected with or endorsed by Medicare, the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), or any federal program.

2. The service

We provide:

• Educational content about Medicare (articles, webinars, videos).
• Free one-on-one Medicare plan comparison and enrollment assistance.
• Ongoing client service after enrollment (claims questions, annual reviews, plan changes during enrollment periods).

Our service is provided at no cost to you. Insurance carriers compensate us when you enroll in a plan through us — the same amount regardless of which carrier you choose.

3. Educational content disclaimer

Information on this site, in webinars, and in other educational materials is for general informational purposes only. It is not personalized advice. Medicare plans, costs, and rules change frequently. Always confirm specific plan details with the insurance carrier and Medicare.gov before making enrollment decisions.

4. Your responsibilities

By using this site or our services, you agree:

• To provide accurate information when you request a consultation, register for a webinar, or fill out forms.
• To consent to be contacted via the methods you provide (phone, email, SMS) for scheduling and Medicare-related discussions.
• To use this site lawfully — no scraping, automated access, hacking, or attempts to disrupt the service.
• To make your own enrollment decisions based on your own research, our explanations, and confirmation with the carrier and Medicare.gov.

5. Communications consent

By submitting your phone number and Permission to Contact (PTC) form, you authorize a licensed insurance agent to contact you by phone, email, or SMS to discuss Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare Supplement plans, and Medicare Part D plans. This is a solicitation for insurance. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to SMS, clicking unsubscribe in emails, or contacting us directly.

6. Call recording

Per CMS Final Rule 2026, Medicare sales calls are recorded and retained for 10 years. You will be notified at the start of any such call.

7. No insurance advice without engagement

Reading content on this site does not create an agent-client relationship. We become your insurance agent only after you complete the appropriate consent forms (PTC, SOA) and we discuss specific plan options with you.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, images, video — is the property of Up Planning Edge LLC or our licensors and is protected by copyright. You may share links to our pages, but you may not copy, republish, or commercially redistribute our content without written permission.

9. Third-party links and content

This site may link to third-party websites (Medicare.gov, insurance carrier portals, content partners). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Up Planning Edge LLC and its agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — whichever is greater. (Note: since our service is free, this generally means $100.)
